Symptoms / Signs:• Cuts, burns, or bruises• Wearing long sleeves in hot weather to hide injuries• Withdrawal or secrecy
Causes:• Trauma, depression, anxiety, or self-criticism
Treatment:• Therapy (CBT, DBT, trauma-focused)• Crisis intervention and safety planning• Supportive counselling and skill-building
