10. Sleep Disorders What it is:Conditions affecting sleep quality, duration, or timing, impacting mental and physical health. Common types:• Insomnia, sleep apnoea, restless legs, circadian rhythm disorders Symptoms:• Fatigue, irritability, concentration issues• Daytime sleepiness• Mood changes Treatment:• Cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I)• Sleep hygiene strategies• Medical interventions for underlying disorders Self-help tips:• Keep a regular sleep schedule• Avoid screens and caffeine before bed• Create a restful sleep environment
