On Thursday, Shane Cuthbert attended and attempted to enter the Cairns Convention Centre which, for the purposes of the Queensland Parliamentary Regional Sitting in Cairns, was designated the Parliamentary precinct. Community Leader and Former Member of the Queensland Parliament Rob Pyne shared his support by approaching Queensland Police officers outside of the Precinct.
